Design
I created a course starter for any fourth grade Language Arts class. This is both a completed product as well as a template. I decided to keep it simple with both design and content. The design allows for the content to be placed strategically in each square provided. The content includes an explanation, example, and two interactive opportunities for the student to practice. The three sentences used tell an extremely short story. Images are place throughout the lesson to support each sentence.
Authoring Tools and Elements
The authoring tools I used to create the course starter were Articulate Storyline 360 and PowerPoint. I used Shutterstock for the backgrounds, characters, and the music. I used several websites for the sound effects.
